It will also give you access to our studio during our weekly open hours ($10/session or free as a catch up for missed class)
This term we will be focussing on large earthy forms! Using a Raku hand building clay we will learn how to coil a large vessel, working on it over the weeks. Learn surface decoration to make your work unique and add texture and pattern to your piece. We will then use clay slips, oxides and colourants to decorate our pot.
You can then join us for a special pit firing at the end of the term (not included in term price -$50 contribution towards wood, materials, labour and time) and use oxides and organic materials to decorate your pot. Join us around the fire and experience the excitement and magic of pit firing!
